Important Art Submission Information

Please pre-register as many of your items as you can and make a note of the deadline for pre-registration shown on the form itself. It will usually close about a week before the con, so you have ample time to submit your stuff.

Pre-registration dramatically speeds up the cataloguing of submissions and reduces the amount of time you have to stand in line for the art submission event (!)

If at all possible, please upload a picture or digital copy of your artwork in the form.

We would like to discourage reselling merchandise and selling unlimited prints. Such items are better suited for the Dealers’ Den, whereas attendees expect to find original works on display in the Art Show.

Last minute, unregistered items will be accepted at the very end of the Art Submission event before the Art show opens. All space will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Sending Parcels to the Hotel in Advance

In addition, if you want to have your items delivered to the hotel, you can!  You may send your items to arrive up to 48-hours prior to the convention (no sooner!).  To send your items, download the shipping labels (cut them out) and attach them to your parcel(s).

You should send your items using your preferred parcel service, ConFuzzled recommends you use a service that will track your parcel, and provide insurance.  Neither ConFuzzled nor the Birmingham Hilton Metropole can be held liable for any losses.  When you arrive, you may retrieve your parcels either at the concierge or the art show room.You can also leave items with the hotel to be returned to you via a courier service if required.  You should affix the returns label found here, and attach it to your parcels.  You can arrange courier services directly through the hotel, or make your own arrangements.  If you make your own arrangements please ensure items are collected quickly – the hotel cannot hold onto items for you and may dispose of items if not collected.
